LG GB106 AND LG GB110
Wednesday, January 21, 2009
Two new entrants into LG’s entry-level mobile phone lineup have been introduced recently, and these are the LG GB106 (pictured left) and LG GB110 (pictured right). Both phones come in small candy bar form factors, have built-in FM radios, and small color displays. And above all, they have affordable price tags.
Sporting rounded corners in its high-quality plastic body, the LG GB106 is a cheap little number that’s suitable as a backup mobile phone. It has several hotkeys on its 5-way d-pad, and its FM radio feature works even without an attached headset because the FM antenna is built-in. Sound may also come out through the external speakers.
The display of the LG GB106 measures 1.5-inches, it has only 1 MB of user memory, and it has a 950 mAh Li-Ion battery capable of giving it up to 400 hours of standby time and 4 hours of talk time on a charge.
Moving on to the LG GB110, we find yet another entry-level mobile phone, only this one’s equipped with a microSD card slot that supports up to 2GB of memory. There’s a built-in VGA camera as well. Besides which, other features are practically the same with the LG GB106.
