NEW TECHNOLOGY TO DISABLE AND LOCATE STOLEN LAPTOPS

Intel is joining hands with mobile giant Ericsson to develop a new chip that allows a user whose laptop has been stolen to remotly disable access to the device, via SMS. The chip will also be fitted with mobile bradband technology that sends back a GPS signal of the Laptop's current loaction, letting the user to track down the stolen Laptop.

Well stolen gadgets is one of the many reported crimes lately, It's great that the major companies are developing ways to help the public. With this latest technology being created for the consumers.
