Nokia India finally launched its competitor of the iPhone, the 5800 XpressMusic. The handset sports a 3.2 inch TFT touchscreen(coupled with proximity sensor and a accelerometer) that displays at a resolution of 320x640 pixels. The device comes equpped with a 3.15-megapixel camera with a Carl Zeiss lens, and a secondary video call camera. For music afficionados, the 5800 XpressMusic offers a 3.5mm audio jack, and supports myriad music formats as well as stereo FM radio. Packaged with an 8GB microSD card, the gadget boasts of built GPS and A-GPs, 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB, Java, TV OUT and Nokia-specific services such as Maps and newly launched Music Store. The company will put it on shelves in january.
